An Enterprise Java Application making use of the following technologies

 

  • Java SDK 1.8 as a base programming language and runtime environment
  • Java EE 7 as a standard for Java Enterprise applications
  • Wildfly 21 as Enterprise Application container ((default), other options are available)
  • Docker for production deployment and release management (recommended)
  • Maven for project dependency, extension and build automation 
  • Java Enterprise Beans for persistence and transaction management
  • Java Messaging Service for asynchronous message processing 
  • Java JSF (Primefaces) for front-end components
  • JUnit for unit testing.
  • JAX-RS reference for Web services and Web Sockets


Fluid’s source code broken up in several Maven modules. The master Maven pom.xml (maven project file) contains and manages the sub module dependencies and versions.
